I am not an actor, but I have other reasons for memorizing material. The author's descriptions and tips for memorization are straightforward and easy to understand. She doesn't add a bunch of fluff, so it's a short book—a quick read—but not lacking in helpful information. I definitely recommend it!

This book is a process in memorization. Don’t let the size of the book fool you. It's packed with all the right information to get you on the right path to learning your lines. I am a speaker, and this has helped me with learning my lines to talk to the audience instead of death by PowerPoint. Thank you.

I’m 70 and was cast to do the role of Fonsia in the play The Gin Game. Some of the suggestions in this book I was already doing…but that ‘chunking’ took me to a whole different level. I got this now!
